My New England Friends Be Careful! {and a recipe}

Did you know that today is National Read in the Bathtub day?  Oh, we're they not referring to this.  Shoot, I didn't get the memo....

Anyway in other news, other than I'm not, I'm kind of jealous of some of the snow that the Northeast is going to get this weekend.

I mean, truthfully I don't like cold weather and I don't like snow (other than when it first falls and is pretty), but if you have to deal with cold weather, you should get some pretty snow to go along with it, right?  Why couldn't the storm deposit snow sparingly over the land instead of dumping it on the northeast?  Ah, the questions we'll never get an answer to from Mother Nature.
hehe... but it's not snowing in Missouri, today's high is 51 and cloudy, not bragging, just mentioning.
So if you're from the Northeast and get some pretty white snow (avoid the yellow, please), would you be so kind as to ship some here to MO so I can make snow ice cream too?  Or at least make some and eat it for me and tell me if it was any good... that'd be ok too I guess since that seems more like a feasible request!

Seriously though, be careful this weekend!!

Snow Ice Cream

7-8 cups unpacked snow
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar

Mix together and serve. Eat it fast because it melts quickly!

Pin It!

Lol! That picture is too funny.
And yes I felt the same way growing up-- if it it is going to be cold might as well be snow
